Brooklyn Nets DFS Notes
James Harden dropped 41 points with 10 assists, seven rebounds, one steal and seven triples in Friday’s Game 3 loss to Boston. Harden and Kevin Durant (39 points) are the second set of teammates in Nets Playoff history to score 30+ points in the same game, joining Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson who did so way back in 2006. It wasn’t enough though, as the Nets had no answer for a red hot Jayson Tatum. As for Kyrie Irving, he had a rough showing vs. his former team with 16 points on 6-of-17 shooting, drawing boos from the crowd all night long.
Boston Celtics DFS Notes
Jayson Tatum went bonkers for a playoff career-high 50 points in a 125-119 Game 3 win over the Nets, adding seven dimes, six rebounds, two steals, one block and five triples in 41 minutes. Tatum struggled mightily in the first two games, scoring a combined 31 points on 9-of-32 shooting, but bounced back for the sixth 50-point playoff performance in Boston history. “We’re running plays for him; we’re doing everything that we can to help him. But at the same time, Jayson has to continue to be able to adjust to the defense that he’s seeing out there,” Marcus Smart said before the game. “We just gotta continue to get open for him. We gotta continue to get in his eyesight, and JT [has] to continue to make the pass to us, even if we’re making or missing them. Eventually, shots will fall, and it’ll open up a lot for him.” Game 4 is set for Sunday, though the Celtics could be without Robert Williams (ankle).
