Rockets vs. Warriors Game 5 Odds
OAKLAND, CA (TheSpread) – The Golden State Warriors return home looking to earn a spot in the NBA Finals on Wednesday night when they host the Houston Rockets at 9PM ET in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals.
Golden State is 78-18 on the season, 45-3 at home and 53-42 against the spread. Houston is 65-33 overall, 27-20 on the road and 58-40 against the spread. Houston avoided a sweep by picking up a 128-115 win at home in Game 4. The Rockets have covered the spread in three of the four games in this series despite trailing 3-1 in victories. These two have hit the under in three of the four games in the series as well.
According to oddsmakers at online sports book Bovada.lv, the Warriors are the clear favorite at home, as Golden State is getting odds of -10.5 points against the Rockets. The over/under total for the game has been set at 216.5 points.
The Rockets had a game to remember in Game 4, winning 128-115. Houston led the whole way, jumping out to a 45-22 lead after one quarter. The Rockets shot 43 of 76 from the field and 17 of 32 from 3-point land in the victory. James Harden had 45 points with nine rebounds and five assists to lead the Rockets while Josh Smith added 20 points with six rebounds and five assists. Draymond Green had 21 points and 15 rebounds to lead Golden State while Stephen Curry had 23 points despite suffering a head contusion in the first half.
