(TheSpread) – The NBA Eastern Conference Finals begin play on Wednesday with Game 1. Here is a look at the odds and over/under total for the series opener.

Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals features the top-seeded Miami Heat hosting the third-seeded Indiana Pacers at 8PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Miami is the favorite in Game 1 of this series, as the Heat have odds of -7.5 points against the Pacers. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 182.5 points.

Miami comes into the game at 74-17 overall, 41-5 at home and 52-39 against the spread. Indiana is now 57-36 overall, 21-25 on the road and 50-43 against the spread. These two teams met three times this season, with the home team winning all three games, Indiana getting the nod in two of the three games.
