ATLANTA, GA (TheSpread) – LeBron James has led the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Eastern Conference Finals, but will he lead them to a victory in Game 1 tonight against the Atlanta Hawks?
According to oddsmakers at online sports book GT Bets, Hawks are the slim favorite at home in tonight’s Game 1, as Atlanta is getting odds of -1 point against the Cavaliers. The over/under total for the game has been set at 197 points. When it comes to the prop odds for LeBron, he has been listed with an over/under of 28.5 points and 17.5 rebounds+assists for the game.
LeBron had another strong season this year, his first back in Cleveland. James averaged 25.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.58 steals per game on the year while shooting 48.8 percent from the field. In the playoffs this season, James has stepped up his game, averaging 26.5 points, 10.2 rebounds, 7.9 assists, 1.9 steals and 1.6 blocks per game. His shooting percentage has dipped to just 42.4 percent from the field and only 14.6 percent from 3-point land.
James has faced off with the Hawks three times this year. Back on Nov. 15 at home, James had 32 points with six rebounds and seven assists in a 127-94 win. On Dec. 17, in Cleveland, James had 21 points with three rebounds and two assists in a loss. On March 6, James had 18 points with six rebounds and eight assists in a loss at Atlanta.
