Hornets vs. Pacers NBA Prediction
The first of two NBA Playoff Play-In games will start at 6:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday when the Pacers host the Hornets. With Indiana laying three points as a home favorite and the total sitting at 227.5, what’s the best bet for this matchup?
Game Snapshot
559 Charlotte Hornets (+3) at 560 Indiana Pacers (-3); o/u 227.5

Venue: Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, IN
Charlotte Hornets DFS Notes
Gordan Hayward (right foot sprain) will not play in Tuesday’s play-in game, as expected. Last Wednesday, Hornets’ reporter Rod Boone said it was “very unlikely,” we’d see Hayward in the play-in tournament, as he’s still yet to be cleared for full-contact work. It doesn’t sound like he’ll be available during the play-in tournament at all, but if the Hornets advance, perhaps he’ll be able to make a return later in the playoffs.
Indiana Pacers DFS Notes
Domantas Sabonis (left quad), Aaron Holiday (right big toe) and Edmond Sumner (left knee) are being listed as questionable for Tuesday’s play-in game vs. the Hornets. The playing status of Holiday and Sumner isn’t all that irrelevant, but if Sabonis isn’t able to give it a go, that would greatly up the odds of Charlotte getting the win. Check back for another update on all these guys following tomorrow’s shootaround.
