Western Conference Finals Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – The NBA Western Conference Finals are set to begin on Tuesday. Which team is favored to win the series, the Golden State Warriors or the Houston Rockets?
Golden State is the top seed in the Western Conference. The Warriors swept the New Orleans Pelicans in the first round and then beat the Memphis Grizzlies in six games to reach this stage. Houston is the second seed in the West. The Rockets beat the Dallas Mavericks in five games and then defeated the Los Angeles Clippers in seven. Golden State will have the home-court advantage in this series.
According to oddsmakers at online sports book GT Bets, the Warriors are the clear favorite to advance to the NBA Finals, as they are getting odds of -800 to win this series, while the Rockets have a money line of +575 to win. Game 1 of the series will take place on Tuesday at 9PM ET.
Golden State is 75-17 on the season, 43-3 at home, 32-14 on the road and 52-39-1 against the spread. Houston is 64-30 overall, 27-18 on the road, 36-12 at home and 55-39 against the spread. These two met four times during the season and Golden State won and covered the spread in all four meetings. The Warriors outscored the Rockets by 61 points in the four games combined and the two split the over/under total in the four meetings.
