Hawks vs. Wizards Game 3 Odds
WASHINGTON, DC (TheSpread) – The Eastern Conference Semifinals head to the nation’s capital today at 5PM ET as the Washington Wizards host the Atlanta Hawks in Game 3 of their series.
Washington is 51-37 on the season, 31-12 at home and 38-47 against the spread. Atlanta is 65-25 overall, 26-18 on the road and 53-35 against the spread. Atlanta evened up the series with a 106-90 win at home in Game 2. The winning team has covered the spread in both games of this series thus far and the two have hit the over in five of their six meetings this season. Washington is expected to be without John Wall for today’s game as he has five non-displaced fractures in his left wrist and hand.
According to oddsmakers at online sports book GT Bets, the Hawks are favored on the road today, as Atlanta is getting odds of -3.5 points against the Wizards. The over/under total for the game has been set at 199 points.
The Wizards weren’t the same without Wall in Game 2, amassing just 90 points while committing 16 turnovers. Atlanta had just 10 turnovers with 30 assists in the win. DeMarre Carroll had 22 points and six rebounds to lead Atlanta while Paul Millsap added 18 points with 11 rebounds, five assists and four steals. Bradley Beal led Washington with 20 points and seven assists.
