The action starts at 8:05PM EST when the Bulls host the Hawks. According to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com, the Bulls are 8.5-point favorites and the over-under is set at 178.
Chicago looked shaky at times but ultimately advanced in five games in its series with the Indiana Pacers. Star point guard Derrick Rose led the way as he tallied 27.6 points per game in the series, over two points per game more than his season average.
In the case of Atlanta, it battled for a six-game win over the Orlando Magic to advance to the Eastern Conference semifinals. Jamal Crawford averaged 20.5 points per contest against Orlando, but a serious blow was potentially dealt in Game 6 as point guard Kirk Hinrich injured his hamstring and his availability in this series is unknown.
Second on the schedule is the Mavericks at the Lakers, set for a 10:35PM EST start. The Lakers are 6-point favorites and the over-under is currently listed at 188.5.
According to the latest NBA trends, the Lakers are 5-5 against the spread versus the Mavericks over the last three seasons. Six of 10 games in this series have gone over the total during the last three seasons.
Los Angeles won its series in six games over the New Orleans Hornets, while Dallas also prevailed in six games over the Portland Trail Blazers.
According to the latest public betting information, 57 percent of bets are on the Los Angeles Lakers as of now.
