Rockets vs. Mavericks Game 4 Odds
DALLAS, TX (TheSpread) – The Houston Rockets can put a final nail in the Dallas Mavericks when the two meet tonight at 9PM ET in Game 4 of their series.
Houston is now 59-26 on the season, 26-15 on the road and 51-34 against the spread. Dallas is 50-35 overall, 27-15 at home and 36-47 against the spread. Houston established a 3-0 lead in the series with a 130-128 win on Friday night. The Rockets have now won and covered the spread in seven of their last eight against the Mavericks and these two have hit the under in five of their last seven meetings.
According to oddsmakers at online sports book Bovada.lv, the Rockets are favored to close out the series today, as they are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Mavericks. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 220 points.
Defense wasn’t exactly on display in Friday’s Game 3, but the Rockets managed to simply outscore the Mavs, 130-128. Houston shot 48 of 93 from the field and 13 of 24 from 3-point land in the win while Dallas was 45 of 86 from the floor and 11 of 29 from 3-point land. James Harden posted 42 points and nine assists to lead Houston while Dwight Howard had 13 points with 26 rebounds. Dallas was led by Monta Ellis and Dirk Nowitzki, who each had 34 points.
