Hawks vs. Nets Game 3 Odds
BROOKLYN, NY (TheSpread) – The Brooklyn Nets look to establish themselves as a contender in their series today at 3PM ET when they host the Atlanta Hawks in Game 3.
Brooklyn is 38-46 on the season, 19-22 at home and 41-41 against the spread. Atlanta is 62-22 on the season, 25-16 on the road and 50-32 against the spread. The Hawks won Game 2 to establish a 2-0 lead in the series. The Hawks have now won seven straight against the Nets, dating back to last season. Despite that, Brooklyn has covered the spread in three of their last five against the Hawks.
According to oddsmakers at online sports book GT Bets, the Hawks are favored on the road in this contest, as they are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Nets. The over/under total for Game 3 has been set at 200.5 points.
Brooklyn kept it close in Game 2, but ultimately, the Hawks picked up a 96-91 win on Wednesday night. The Hawks shot just 38 percent from the field in the game, but they forced the Nets into 16 turnovers. Al Horford had 14 points with 13 rebounds and seven assists to lead Atlanta while Jeff Teague had 16 points and six assists. Kyle Korver added 17 points with four steals for the Hawks. Brooklyn was led by Brook Lopez, who had 20 points, seven rebounds and three blocks.
