Cleveland picked up a 119-114 win over the Pacers in Game 3 on Thursday to take a 3-0 lead in the series. Indiana blew a 26-point lead in the loss, which was the biggest in NBA playoff history. Cleveland is coming into today 54-31 overall, 21-21 on the road and 37-45-3 against the spread. Indiana is 42-43 overall, 29-13 at home and 41-43-1 against the spread.
Indiana held a 72-46 late in the first half of Game 3, but the Cavaliers just chipped away in the second half behind a legendary performance from LeBron James. James had 41 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists to carry Cleveland to the win, with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love both on the bench for a good part of the run. Those two, along with J.R. Smith and Channing Frye each had 13 points. Paul George had 36 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the Pacers in the loss.
The Cavs sucked the life out of the Pacers in Game 3. Cleveland seemed to finally snap into what it is capable of during its run to the lead while the Pacers have to be demoralized after blowing such a big lead at home. The Cavs got the win without two of their Big 3 playing well. Love and Irving should spring back into form today and help LeBron finish this sweep off.
