Mavericks vs. Rockets Gm 2 Odds
HOUSTON, TX (TheSpread) – The Texas series continues in the NBA Playoffs as the Houston Rockets host the Dallas Mavericks in Game 2 tonight at 9:30PM ET.
Houston is 57-26 on the season, 31-11 at home and 49-34 against the spread. Dallas is 50-33 on the season, 23-19 on the road and 36-45 against the spread. Including the 118-108 win on Saturday for Houston, the Rockets have now won and covered the spread in five of their last six against the Mavericks. These two have hit the under in four of their five meetings this season.
According to oddsmakers at online sports book Bovada.lv, the Rockets are favored to win Game 2, as they are getting odds of -5.5 points against the Mavericks tonight. The over/under total for the game has been set at 215 points.
Houston got off to a fast start in its win over Dallas on Saturday, jumping out to a 32-19 lead through one quarter of play. The Rockets were strong shooting all game, going 38 of 85 from the field and 10 of 25 from 3-point land. James Harden led Houston in the win, as he had 24 points and 11 assists while going 15 of 17 from the free-throw line. Terrence Jones added 19 points and nine rebounds for Houston. Dallas was led by Tyson Chandler, who had 11 points and 18 rebounds.
