Pelicans vs. Warriors Game 2 Odds
OAKLAND, CA (TheSpread) – The Golden State Warriors hope to have an easier time with the New Orleans Pelicans in Game 2 of their NBA Playoff series tonight at 10:30PM ET.
Golden State is 68-15 on the season, 40-2 at home and 47-35 against the spread. New Orleans is 45-38 overall, 17-25 on the road and 46-37 against the spread. With the win in Game 1 of the series, the Warriors have now won nine of their last 10 against the Pelicans, but New Orleans has covered the spread in three of their last four against Golden State. These two have pushed or hit the under in nine of their last 10 meetings.
According to oddsmakers at online sports book GT Bets, the Warriors are the favorite in Game 2, as they are getting odds of -11.5 points against the Pelicans. The over/under total for the game has been set at 205 points.
The Warriors picked up a 106-99 win over the Pelicans in Game 1 of the series. The game was very inconsistent for the Warriors, as they took multiple double-digit leads, only to see them disappear to a few possessions each time. The Pelicans made it interesting late with a 33-22 fourth quarter, but Golden State held on in the closing minutes. Stephen Curry had 34 points, five assists and three steals to lead Golden State while Anthony Davis had 35 points with seven rebounds and four blocks to lead the Pelicans.
