NBA First Round Series Prices


(TheSpread) – The eight matchups for the first round of the NBA Playoffs get started this weekend. Here is a look at the odds for each of the series set to take place.

In the Western Conference, the featured series has the four-seeded L.A. Clippers taking on the fifth-seeded Memphis Grizzlies. According to oddsmakers at, the Clippers are a slight favorite to win this series, as they have odds of -175 to win, while the Grizzlies have a money line of +155 to win the series. The Clippers were the Pacific Division champion, going 56-26, while Memphis was second in the Southwest Division, going 56-26 on the year as well. These two teams met four times this year, with the Clippers winning three of the four meetings. The road team also won three of the four in this series.

In the Eastern Conference, the series of interest has the second-seeded New York Knicks meeting the seventh-seeded Boston Celtics. According to oddsmakers, the Knicks are the favorite to win the series, as they have odds of -325. The Celtics have been given a money line of +265 to win this series. New York won the Atlantic Division by going 54-28 overall this season while Boston was third in the division, going 41-40 overall. These two teams met four times this year, with New York winning three of the four games. The road team also won three of the four in this series.
