According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Cavaliers are favored in today’s game, as they are getting odds of -8.5 points against the Pacers. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 209.5 points.

Cleveland picked up a win in Game 1, 109-108. The Cavs were a 9-point favorite for the game. Cleveland has won four straight over the Pacers, but Indiana has now covered in five of their last seven against the Cavs. Cleveland comes into tonight 52-31 overall, 32-10 at home and 36-44-3 against the spread. Indiana is 42-41 overall, 13-28 on the road and 40-42-1 against the spread.
Indiana had a chance to steal Game 1 outright as C.J. Miles missed a shot at the buzzer. Indiana was with the Cavs most of the game, but both teams shot the ball quite well. Cleveland was 42-of-78 shooting (53.8 percent) while Indiana was 40-of-81 shooting (49.4 percent). Paul George had 29 points and seven assists to lead the team while Jeff Teague had 15 points. LeBron James led Cleveland with 32 points, 13 assists and six rebounds while Kyrie Irving had 23 points and six assists.
I expected Cleveland to look much better in Game 1 than it did. The Cavs continued to have some of the same problems they had toward the end of the regular season, costing them the No. 1 seed. Indiana feels like it let one get away on Saturday and the Pacers should bring their best to try and avoid going down Game 2. I think today’s game will be similar, with Indiana keeping it close if not winning outright.
