According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog.com the Celtics are favored to win the series with odds of -400, while the Knicks come in with series odds of +300

New York finished second in the Atlantic, 14 games behind Boston. The Knicks were 23-18 at home this season and 19-22 on the road. The Knicks were 28-24 in conference games and won 7 of the last 10 games in the regular season.
These two faced off four times during the regular season and Boston won all four meetings. All the games were decided by 10 points or less.
Trends show that the Knicks are 9-19-1 against the spread in their last 29 games against Boston while the Celtics are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 playoff games as a favorite.
In terms of injuries, Boston center Shaquille O’Neal is out with a calf injury while New York forward Shelden Williams is questionable with an ankle injury.
