NBA Betting Trends
San Antonio
The Spurs are 5-2-1 against the spread in their last eight road games, but just 1-5 ATS in their last six following a win.
Denver
The Nuggets are 0-7 ATS in their last seven conference quarterfinal games and 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games.
Prediction:
The home team won all four meetings between these two this season. Denver and San Antonio both kind of limped to the finish line this season, as neither team was playing particularly well over the last month. Still, Denver has impressive home numbers and I think the Nuggets are determined to prove they are a legit contender. San Antonio has talent, but the Spurs just haven’t been able to consistently put the pieces together. I think the Spurs are going to struggle with the Nuggets defense and pace in Denver.
NBA Prediction: Denver Nuggets -5.5
