NBA Western Conference Odds
The Golden State Warriors are seeking their fifth consecutive Western Conference title this postseason. Will anybody be able to stop them from reaching another NBA Finals?
According to the latest oddsmakers, the Golden State Warriors are the clear favorite, as they are listed with -400 odds to win the West. Other short odds to win are the Houston Rockets (+600), the Denver Nuggets (+1400) and the Oklahoma City Thunder (+1400).
The Warriors once again own the top seed in the West after going 57-25 this season. Golden State was 30-11 at home, 27-14 on the road and 35-17 in conference games. The Warriors are opening the playoffs against the Los Angeles Clippers (+15000). They are looking for a fifth consecutive conference title and 11th conference title overall in franchise history.
The Rockets are the fourth seed in the West with a 53-29 overall record this season. Houston posted a 31-10 mark at home and a 22-19 mark on the road. The Rockets were 32-20 in conference games. They will open up the playoffs against the Utah Jazz (+2000). The Rockets have won four conference titles in franchise history, the last of which came in 1995.
The Denver Nuggets are the second seed in the West this postseason. They posted a 54-28 record on the year while going 34-7 at home and 20-21 on the road. The Nuggets were 34-18 in conference games as well. Denver is set to meet with the San Antonio Spurs (+5000) in the opening round. The Nuggets have never won the conference title in franchise history.
The Oklahoma City Thunder are just the 6 seed in the West after going 49-33 on the season. OKC posted a 27-14 record at home and 22-19 record on the road while going only 28-24 in conference games. The Thunder meet the Portland Trail Blazers (+5000) in the first round. OKC is seeking its second conference title in franchise history. The first came in 2012.
