The field for the 2019 NBA Playoffs has been set. Here’s a look at the latest odds to win the NBA Finals now that the matchups are locked in.
According to the latest oddsmakers, the Golden State Warriors are the clear favorite, as they are getting -200 odds. Other short odds to win are the Milwaukee Bucks (+500), the Boston Celtics (+1200), the Houston Rockets (+1200) and the Toronto Raptors (+1200).
The Warriors are the top seed in the Western Conference following a 57-25 record. They were 30-11 at home and 27-14 on the road. Golden State has won the last two NBA Finals and three of the last four titles. They will face the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the playoffs.
The Bucks have the top record in the NBA coming into the playoffs and they are No. 1 in the East. Milwaukee went 60-22 this season with a 33-8 record at home and a 27-14 record on the road. The Bucks will open the playoffs against the Detroit Pistons. They are seeking their second NBA title in franchise history. The first came in 1971.
Boston is the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference after putting up a 49-33 record this season. The Celtics were 28-13 at home and 21-20 on the road this year. They will face the Indiana Pacers in the first round. Boston has won 17 NBA titles in program history, with the last coming in 2010.
The Houston Rockets are the fourth seed in the Western Conference after racking up a 53-29 record this season. Houston was 31-10 at home and 22-19 on the road. The Rockets will face the Utah Jazz in the first round of the playoffs. Houston has won two NBA championships in franchise history, which came in 1994 and 1995.
Toronto is the second seed in the Eastern Conference. The Raptors posted a 58-24 record with a 32-9 mark at home and a 26-15 record on the road. Toronto opens the playoffs by playing the Orlando Magic. The Raptors have not won a championship in franchise history.
