INDIANAPOLIS, IN (TheSpread) – The Indiana Pacers expect to have Paul George back in the lineup today as they battle for their playoff lives when they host the Miami Heat at 6PM ET.
Indiana is 33-43 on the season, 20-18 at home and 39-34 against the spread. Miami is 34-42 overall, 16-23 on the road and 33-39 against the spread. Miami is in the eighth spot in the East, but is only 1 game ahead of Indiana. The Pacers are coming off a win over the Hornets on Friday, but they are just 3-7 in their last 10 games straight up and 4-6 against the spread in that stretch. George will be making his season debut today after suffering a gruesome leg injury during an Olympic exhibition game last offseason. Miami is riding a 3-game losing streak right now and the Heat are just 2-6 in their last eight while going 2-6 against the spread as well. Miami has hit the under in seven of its last nine.
