Philadelphia 76ers DFS Notes
Tobias Harris finished Saturday’s loss to the Clippers with 29 points (13-of-19 FGs, 1-of-3 FTs), seven rebounds, six assists and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes played. Harris has scored 20 points or more in five of his last six games, with Saturday’s effort being his best. But he’s done a lot more than just score, as evidenced by the fact that over the last two weeks he’s provided first-round value in 9-cat formats. So long as Joel Embiid (knee) remains out of action, Harris will have every opportunity to step forward and establish himself as the 76ers’ marquee scoring option moving forward.
Denver Nuggets DFS Notes
Michael Porter Jr. hit 6-of-12 shots, 2-of-5 3-pointers, and 1-of-1 free throws for 15 points, three assists, 10 rebounds, and no turnovers in a win over the Hawks on Sunday. Porter Jr. continued his streak of scoring 15 points or more on 50% or better shooting to an 11th straight game. Despite sharing the floor with new teammate Aaron Gordon, MPJ got his numbers in 27 minutes. It’s unclear if he’ll be able to continue this streak much longer with Gordon inevitably taking possession away, but he should remain a top-50 or so player.
76ers vs. Nuggets Game Prediction
The 76ers have owned this series from a betting standpoint, cashing in 10 of their last 11 games in Denver and posting at 15-4-2 ATS record over their last 21 games against the Nuggets overall. They’re also hot in general, going 9-2-1 against the spread in their last 12 games overall and 12-2 against the number in their last 14 games when their opponent scored 100 points or more in its previous game. Speaking of that opponent, the Nuggets are just 2-5 at the betting window in their last seven games following a win.
NBA PREDICTION: PHILADELPHIA 76ERS +4.5
