Tuesday NBA Opening Odds
(The Spread) – There are only three games on the NBA schedule for Tuesday night, but one of them involves the Los Angeles Lakers, who are always intriguing.

The Lakers will play their second straight game without Andrew Bynum (suspension) when they host the Phoenix Suns tonight. The Lakers have won four straight and 12 of 13 since the All-Star Break, which includes an 84-80 win over the Trail Blazers on Sunday. (Kobe Bryant scored 22 points in the win, while Lamar Odom had 16 points, 11 rebounds and six assists starting in place of Bynum.)
Oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog.com have made the Lakers 7-point favorites over the Suns on Tuesday night. The over/under total has opened at 199 points.
According to latest NBA trends, the over is 6-2 in the last eight meetings between the Lakers and Suns in Los Angeles. The Suns are 2-5 ATS in their last seven trips to L.A., although the underdog is 4-1-1 ATS in the last six meetings between these two teams and the road team is 4-0-1 ATS in the last five.
In other NBA action on Tuesday night, the Chicago Bulls are 3.5-point favorites over the Atlanta Hawks and the odds have yet to be released for the Washington Wizards-Portland Trail Blazers game at 10:00PM ET.
