Minnesota Timberwolves DFS Spin
Karl-Anthony Towns scored 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting (2-of-6 FT) Sunday, to go with eight rebounds, eight assists, one 3-pointer, one steal, one block and an unfortunate seven turnovers in a win over the Trail Blazers. Towns did take a tough spill midway through the third quarter and landed hard on his left wrist, which is the same wrist that forced him to miss so much time this season. He was able to play through it, but he also only attempted two shots during the fourth quarter in a tight game, so it seemed to be bothering him. Hopefully, he’ll be good to go for Tuesday’s game vs. the Lakers, but the Wolves have every incentive to lose as many games as possible this season, so we’ll see.
Los Angeles Lakers DFS Spin
LeBron James hit 8-of-13 shots, two 3-pointers and 4-of-6 free throws for 22 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists and six turnovers in Monday’s easy 128-97 win over the Warriors. This was LeBron’s fourth triple-double of the season, his 98th regular-season TD and the 126th of his career. This was LeBron’s first triple-double since he had 28-14-12 against the Thunder back on Feb. 8 and he’ll look to keep it going against the Timberwolves on Tuesday. Minnesota is bad, so it makes sense to make sure that LeBron will play in that game. Chances are he will, but he’s only missed one game this season and despite not having Anthony Davis, the Lakers could probably afford to give Bron the day off on Tuesday if they can talk him into it. Our guess is he’ll play in the second game of his five-game week.
