NBA Betting Trends
Los Angeles
The Lakers are 5-12-1 against the spread in their last 18 games playing on 1 day of rest and 2-10 ATS in their last 12 road games against a team with a losing home record.
Golden State
The Warriors are 2-5 ATS in their last seven against a winning team and 4-10-1 ATS in their last 15 games following a double-digit loss at home.
Prediction:
The Lakers have won both meetings with the Warriors this season, but Golden State covered at home on Feb. 8. The Lakers are clearly the better team, but without LeBron, I don’t know that Los Angeles is really all that special. Davis is great, but it’s not like the Pelicans were amazing with him. LeBron creates a lot of offense and defense for Los Angeles. Without him, I can’t trust them as a 10-point favorite on the road. The Warriors aren’t good, but there’s a little buzz with Curry returning. Perhaps Green will start to find his motivation again.
NBA Prediction: Golden State Warriors +10.5
