According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Nuggets are 3-point favorites to beat the Thunder. The total, meanwhile, sits at 238 points and as of this writing, 58% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Nuggets to cover the point spread.
Oklahoma City Thunder Fantasy Spin
Russell Westbrook made 15-of-30 from the field for 41 points during a 119-116 loss to the Kings on Saturday, adding 10 rebounds, four assists, one block, one steal, five 3-pointers and seven turnovers in 35 minutes. No triple-doubles in back-to-back games? Despite that after 11 straight prior to last night, Westbrook has now hit more than 40 points in three straight games for the third such streak of his career (four in 2017, three in 2016). In those three, he’s played 39.1 minutes per game with a 36.1 usage rate and a Curry-like 64.9 TS% at a 110.1 pace. Even with this tough loss after a double-overtime win on Friday, the Thunder are going to be dangerous if Westbrook keeps scoring at anywhere close to this rate.
Denver Nuggets Fantasy Spin
Isaiah Thomas scored 10 points with four assists and one rebound on Sunday, making 3-of-11 shots with 4-of-4 free throws in a season-high 24 minutes. Thomas was slow to get up after having a 3-pointer blocked in the first half, but didn’t seem any worse for the wear. Nuggets coach Mike Malone seems intent on getting IT into the swing of things before the playoffs, so 18-24 minutes may not be a stretch. “Isaiah’s one of those guys that can miss five in a row [but] it will not deter him taking that next shot,” Malone said recently. “And that’s what I love about him.” Fantasy owners won’t be so keen if he tanks their FG% but he’s worth a look if you need some points and 3-pointers.
NBA Betting Trends
Oklahoma City
The Thunder are 8-3 against the spread in their last 11 games when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous game.
Denver

Prediction
The Thunder are winless against the spread in their last seven games versus the Nuggets and are just 10-23 at the betting window in their last 33 games when facing the Northwest. On the other side, the Nuggets have been strong in conference play, covering in four of their previous game games against the rest of the Western Conference. They’re also excellent at home, cashing in 16 of their previous 21 home games.
