Timberwolves vs. Bucks Prediction
The Milwaukee Bucks remain red-hot and should earn their 45th win of the season on Saturday night when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves at 8:30 p.m. ET. That said, are they laying too many points as a home favorite?

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Bucks are 12.5-point favorites to beat the Timberwolves. The total, meanwhile, sits at 229 points and as of this writing, 55% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Timberwolves to cover the point spread.
Minnesota Timberwolves Fantasy Spin
Derrick Rose dropped 20 points in a 115-104 win over the Knicks on Friday, hitting 6-of-14 shots and 8-of-8 free throws. He did his damage in just 23 minutes, adding three assists, two rebounds, three steals and three turnovers. Karl-Anthony Towns missed tonight’s game with a concussion and his status for Saturday is unclear, so Rose could get a boost in the short term after posting a 34.5 usage rate tonight (season average is 25.5). He’s a must-own player, but his stat set is better suited for points leagues.
Milwaukee Bucks Fantasy Spin
Giannis Antetokounmpo (right knee soreness) scored 30 points (11-of-19 FGs, 7-of-10 FTs) on Thursday, adding 13 rebounds, six assists, two blocks, one steal and one 3-pointer in 37 minutes against the Celtics. Giannis was fresh off of his sublime All-Star performance and picked up right where he left off, throwing down a dunk within the first few possessions of the game. Over his last four games, he’s averaging 30.3 points, 16.5 rebounds, 7.5 assists, 0.8 steals, 1.8 blocks and 1.0 triples on 61.6% shooting, which is good for top-4 fantasy value in that time. Giannis is good, it seems.
NBA Betting Trends
Minnesota
The Timberwolves are a perfect 4-0 against the spread in their last four games and are 4-1 ATS in their five games playing on zero rest.
Milwaukee
The Bucks have failed to cover the spread in four of their last five home games.
Prediction
Despite laying double-digit points and despite struggling to cover at home, I like Milwaukee tonight. The Bucks are 9-2 against the spread in their last 11 games following an ATS loss, are 12-3-1 at the betting window in their last 16 games when playing an opponent with a losing record and are 18-7-1 ATS in their last 26 games overall. The Timberwolves, meanwhile, are 2-8 at the betting window in their last 10 games versus the Bucks and failed to cover in all four of their previous four trips to Milwaukee. The favorite is also a perfect 6-0 against the spread in the last six meetings between these two teams while the home squad is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings.
Saturday NBA Prediction: Milwaukee Bucks -12.5
