2011 NBA All-Star Game Odds East West

LOS ANGELES, CA (TheSpread) – The Eastern Conference looks for its second-straight All-Star Game victory on Sunday when they take on the best of the West in the 2011 NBA All-Star Game.

Sunday’s game will be played at 8PM ET from the Staples Center in Los Angeles and air live on TNT.

Oddsmakers from online sportsbook have made the Eastern Conference a 1-point favorite over the Western Conference on Sunday. The over/under total has been set at 268.5 points.

Starters for the East this year are LeBron James (MIA), Amar’e Stoudemire (NY), Dwayne Wade (MIA), Derrick Rose (CHI), and Dwight Howard (ORL). Bench players include Ray Allen (BOS), Chris Bosh (MIA), Kevin Garnett (BOS), Al Horford (ATL), Joe Johnson (ATL), Paul Pierce (BOS), and Rajon Rondo (BOS). The team will be coached by Doc Rivers (BOS).

For the West, starters are Tim Duncan (SA), Kevin Durant (OKC), Carmelo Anthony (DEN), Kobe Bryant (LAL), and Chris Paul (NO). Yao Ming (HOU) was selected to start by the fans, but will be unable to play due to injury. Bench players for the West are Manu Ginobili (SA), Pau Gasol (LAL), Blake Griffin (LAC), Kevin Love (MIN), Dirk Nowitzki (DAL), Russell Westbrook (OKC), and Deron Williams (UT).

Of the rosters, the West have three players making their first All-Star Game appearance while the entire East roster consist of All-Star veterans.

The East won last year’s game 141-139. It was the fourth victory in the last six games played. The winning team has scored at least 134 points in the last four contests and the total points scored have hit at least 269 in just two of the last seven games.
