World Team
The World Team will be coached by NBA veteran Dirk Nowitzki and is comprised of 10 first or second year players that hail from non-U.S. countries. The team includes Ben Simmons, Cedi Osman, Josh Okogie, Lauri Markkanen, Rodions Kurcus, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luka Doncic, Bogdan Bogdanovic, DeAndre Ayton and OG Anunoby.

The United States squad will be coached by Kyrie Irving of the Celtics. The roster for Irving’s team has Trae Young, Jayson Tatum, Donovan Mitchell, Kyle Kuzma, Kevin Knox, Jaren Jackson Jr., De’Aaron Fox, John Collins, Marvin Bagley III and Jarrett Allen. Lonzo Ball was scheduled to be on the team as well, but an injury is keeping him from participating.

Game Trends
The World Team has won the last two years, winning in 2017 by nine points and last year by 31 points. Team USA’s last win was in 2016, but by just three points.
Total Trends
In 2017 and 2016, the total reached 291 points or more, but last year saw it down to just 279 points.
Prediction:
The World seems to have a chip on its shoulder for this game. The roster has plenty of talent, but some of the names aren’t as recognizable as Team USA. This is a great opportunity for them to make a name for themselves on national television. I expect the World Team to play more like a team and pick up another win in this game. I don’t like the over to hit, as you really need some great shooting to get at least 291 points and I think the World Team will play a little more defense that Team USA might anticipate.
NBA Prediction: World Team +3.5 and Under 290.5
