NBA All-Star Game MVP Odds
NEW ORLEANS, LA (The Spread) – The 2014 NBA All-Star Game takes place on Sunday, February 16. Here’s a look at the odds to win the MVP award.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Kevin Durant is favored to win the NBA All-Star Game MVP award at 3/1, while LeBron James has the next-best odds at 7/2. Anthony Davis is also 17/2, while Carmelo Anthony is 10/1 and Stephen Curry is 11/1.
Continuing with the odds, Paul George and Blake Griffin are both 12/1, respectively, while Kevin Love is 14/1 and Kyrie Irving is 16/1. Chris Paul, meanwhile, is 18/1, while LaMarcus Aldridge is 20/1 and John Wall and Dwayne Wade are 25/1, respectively.
Some of the long shots to win the 2014 NBA All-Star Game MVP are Chris Bosh at 30/1, Tony Parker, Damian Lillard and Dwight Howard at 35/1, and Joakim Noah at 45/1. Dirk Nowitzki is also 50/1, while Roy Hibbert, DeMar DeRozan, Joe Johnson and Paul Millsap are all 70/1, respectively.
Chris Paul won the 2013 NBA All-Star Game MVP last year while Durant won in 2012 and Kobe Bryant won in 2011. Dwayne Wade, Shaquille O’Neal, James and Allen Iverson have all won the award over the past decade.
This year’s NBA All-Star Game will take place on February 16 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, LA. Gary Clark Jr. will sing the National Anthem, while Trombone Shorty, Dr. John, Janelle Monae, Earth, Wind, and Fire, and Gary Clark Jr. will perform at the halftime show.
