Cleveland Cavs Fantasy Spin
Larry Nance hauled in a career-high 19 rebounds in a 119-106 loss to the Cavs on Friday, adding 10 points, six assists, one triple, three steals and just one turnover in 33 minutes. Nance was scoreless through the first half of action, missing all six of his attempts, but he turned things around after halftime and was superb on the offensive glass (nine O-boards). He had plenty of opportunities to gobble up the boards with the Cavs going 36-of-96 (37.5%) from the field, and while he was part of Cleveland’s efficiency issues (3-of-15 FGs); he did knock down three of his four freebies and only committed one turnover.
Indiana Pacers Fantasy Spin
Bojan Bogdanovic was hot during a win over the Clippers on Thursday, scoring 29 points with seven rebounds, one assist, three steals and three 3-pointers in 32 minutes. He did have a fall in the first half, but it certainly didn’t slow him down in this easy win. To nobody’s surprise, Bojan has been cooking since Victor Oladipo (knee) went down, averaging 20.9 points, 3.8 boards, 2.3 dimes, 0.8 steals and 2.5 treys on a 51/42/88 shooting line. He’ll have some big scoring lines going forward and the arrival of Wes Matthews shouldn’t affect him too much.
