Kings win two of three
Sacramento has won two of its last three games, but both were at home. They are coming off a 111-98 win over the Warriors last night. The Kings are 14-23 on the season, 6-13 on the road, 19-18 against the spread and 21-16 with the under.
The Kings are struggling on offense this season, averaging just 106.0 points per game while shooting 45.2 percent from the field. Defensively, Sacramento is giving up 108.7 points per game while opponents shoot 46.5 percent from the field. Buddy Hield is leading the team with 20.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists per contest. De’Aaron Fox is adding 17.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 6.8 assists per contest.
Suns fall to Memphis
The Suns are coming off a 121-114 loss at home to Memphis on Sunday. That loss ended a four-game cover streak for the Suns. Phoenix is 14-22 on the season, 7-13 at home, 20-15-1 against the spread and 21-15 with the over.
Phoenix is struggling on defense this season, allowing 115.2 points per game while opponents shoot 47.8 percent from the field. Offensively, the Suns are putting up 114.2 points per game while shooting 46.2 percent from the field. Devin Booker is leading the team with 26 points, 3.8 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game. Deandre Ayton is adding 14.5 points and 12.3 rebounds per contest.
NBA Betting Trends
Sacramento
The Kings are 12-5 against the spread in their last 17 road games, but just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games overall.
Phoenix
The Suns are 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 games as a favorite, but 5-1 ATS in their last six games playing on 1 day of rest.
Prediction:
These two have met three times this season, with Phoenix getting a win and cover in two of the three games, including the lone meeting in Phoenix. The Suns are tough to trust because they should be having an improved year, but are still struggling with consistency. Still, the last week has been pretty good outside a loss to the Grizzlies. They have covered against the likes of the Lakers, Blazers and Kings. Sacramento has had some nice showings at home as of late, but they continue to struggle on the road. I think their lack of scoring will be the issue tonight, as Phoenix can score in droves behind Booker. With Ayton now in the mix, it makes the Suns even stronger on both sides of the ball.
NBA Prediction: Phoenix Suns -6.5
