76ers vs. Celtics Prediction
Can bettors bank on a high-scoring game between the 76ers and Celtics tonight when the two teams clash at 7:30PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Celtics are 12.5-point home favorites versus the 76ers while the over/under currently sits at 213.5 points. Boston opened as a 12.5-point favorite so there has been no change there, but the total has moved from 214 down slightly to 213.5.
Joel Embiid will travel to Boston for tonight’s game but remains questionable with gastroenteritis. Gerald Henderson, meanwhile, is probable for tonight’s game with a hip injury and Sergio Rodriguez (left ankle) is also probable. The only player that is questionable for Philadelphia tonight is Robert Covington, who is dealing with a back injury.
Isaiah Thomas scored 29 points with a career-high 15 assists in Tuesday’s 115-99 win over the Jazz. He’s coming off a career-high 52-point game and despite being snubbed of the Eastern Conference Player of the Month Award for December, he’s looking great so far in January. He finished 10-of-18 from the field and made 4-of-4 from the free throw line. In his return from a one-game absence, Avery Bradley (illness) also added 14 points in 36 minutes.
