Oklahoma City goes to Dallas Thursday night for a spotlight matchup that will be nationally televised at 8:00PM EST. The game was not currently lined late into Wednesday night, likely due to the uncertain status of Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki.
Coming into the contest, the Kevin Durant-led Thunder are 23-13 overall and 10-7 on the road. The Mavericks, trying to rebound from the loss of Caron Butler for the season, are 26-8 overall and 14-6 at home. Oklahoma City is scoring 103 points per game and allowing 101.4, while Dallas is putting in 97.9 and giving up 93.2 according to NBA Matchups.
Durant lead the NBA in scoring as his average sits at 27.9, while teammate Russell Westbrook is putting together a stellar season with averages of 22.1 in points and 7.9 in assists. Nowitzki leads the Mavs at 24.1points per game yet has missed five straight games with a sore knee as Dallas has gone 2-3 during that stretch.
Oklahoma City is 18-17 against the spread thus far this season and Dallas is 20-12 ATS according to the latest NBA trends.
The lone other game on the docket Thursday is in Sacramento at 10:30 PM EST, where the Kings will host Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets. The opening line had Denver as a 5.5-point favorite.
