Denny Hamlin will open as the odds to win favorite in this weekend’s Carquest 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series Race from Lowe’s Motor Speedway in
Hamlin is listed as a 4/1 favorite for Saturday’s race. Joe Gibbs Racing team mate Kyle Busch is right behind Hamlin at 4.5/1 odds to win. Rounding out the top 5 are Jimmie Johnson also at 4.5/1 – in a rare Nationwide Series start at his sponsors track, Dale Earnhardt Jr. at 7/1 and Carl Edwards – who is third in NASCAR Nationwide Series points at 7.5/1. In total, oddsmakers at online sports book Bodog have posted odds on 20 individual drivers who they feel have a chance of winning the 2008 Carquest 300. The remaining 23 drivers without odds to win will be placed in the field pool which is currently paying 12/1. A winning wager on a field pool driver would pay $1,200 for every $100 wager.
