HOMESTEAD, Fla. (AP) -Kyle Busch took the lead on a restart with four laps to go, then ran away from Ron Hornaday Jr. to win the NASCAR Camping World Trucks season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Friday night.
It was the series-high eighth victory of the season for Busch, and clinched the owner points title for his team.
Hornaday was second, followed by Johnny Sauter – whose collision with Busch earlier in the race appeared to end Busch’s chances of winning.
Todd Bodine finished fourth, a week after he clinched the series championship with a 12th-place finish at Phoenix.
