FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) Joey Logano says being intentionally wrecked by Matt Kenseth might not have been such a bad thing.
Logano says his team is more fired up than ever and that he is ”pretty pumped up” about being in Texas. He has two more chances to become one of the four drivers racing for the championship in the season finale at Homestead.
Logano is last among the eight drivers still in contention for the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship. He won three consecutive races and was leading with 47 laps left last weekend at Martinsville when he was wrecked by Kenseth, payback from an incident three races ago.
NASCAR suspended Kenseth for two races. Logano says NASCAR did what it felt was right.
