TALLADEGA, Ala. (AP) - Richard Childress Racing teammates Kevin Harvick and Jeff Burton have declared a truce after butting heads on the track last weekend. Burton says the two drivers met during the week and their issues are ``completely over,'' saying the incident will make them better teammates. Harvick said the issue was handled in ``about five minutes'' because of the respect he and Burton have for each other. Harvick and Burton both spent a portion of last Sunday's race at Martinsville complaining to their crews over their in-car radios after Harvick apparently took issue with the way Burton tried to pass him and nudged Burton's car. Burton then criticized Harvick after the race. |
