DARLINGTON, S.C. (AP) – Denny Hamlin’s on such a winning roll this NASCAR season, even his biscuits turned out great.
Hamlin is coming off a victory last week at Kansas Speedway, his second Sprint Cup win of the season. Now, Hamlin is heading into his home track at Richmond where the Joe Gibbs Racing star usually gets his season kicked into full gear. Hamlin says the way he’s going, “nothing says I can’t win four or five in a row here the next few weeks.”
Hamlin made a stop in Darlington to visit with fans and learn how to make biscuits at an area Bojangles. The fast-food chain had recently signed a five-year deal as the Southern 500’s title sponsor and Hamlin had his clean hands inside the restaurant’s dough to press out biscuits.
