Last year: Jimmie Johnson won for the first time at Bristol, powering from sixth to first in three laps after a late four-tire stop. Tony Stewart finished second, and Kurt Busch was third after leading 278 laps.
Last race: Carl Edwards won at Las Vegas on March 6. Stewart was second.
Fast facts: Kyle Busch has won three of the last four races at the track and four of the last eight. In August, he completed an unprecedented Trucks-Nationwide-Sprint Cup sweep. ... The race is the fourth of the year. Trevor Bayne won the season-opening Daytona 500 and Jeff Gordon followed with a victory at Phoenix. ... Last year: Justin Allgaier raced to his first NASCAR victory, holding off Brad Keselowski in Penske Racing's first 1-2 Nationwide finish.
Last race: Mark Martin won at Las Vegas on March 5 for his record 49th Nationwide victory, taking the lead when Brad Keselowski cut a tire on the final lap. Danica Patrick was fourth, the best finish by a female driver in a national NASCAR race.
Fast facts: Kyle Busch won at the track in August, part of an unprecedented Trucks-Nationwide-Sprint Cup sweep. He intentionally spun leader Keselowski in retaliation for Keselowski's bump seconds earlier. Busch won the Feb. 26 race at Phoenix for his 44th series victory. ... Patrick is making her first Bristol start.
