DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Cameron Hayley and Steve Park emerged from last-lap issues to earn victories at the UNOH Battle At The Beach at Daytona International Speedway on Tuesday.
Hayley, a 16-year-old out of Calgary, Alberta, banged fenders with Gray Gaulding in a drag race to the checkered flag of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series race.
Park, a NASCAR veteran out of East Northport, N.Y., made contact with race leader Mike Stefanik on the final lap en route to a victory in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race.
Gaulding held on for second in the K&N Pro Series race followed by Bryan Ortiz in the third.
Eric Goodale was the runner-up in the Whelen Modified Tour event with Ted Christopher finishing third.
