2013 NASCAR Championship Odds


(TheSpread) – The 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Season will begin in late February. Here is the first look at the odds to win next year’s season-long championship.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Jimmie Johnson is the favorite to win it all, as he has 5/1 odds to win the Sprint Cup. Other short odds to win are Brad Keselowski, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch and Kasey Kahne, who each have 8/1 odds to win.

Johnson has won the Sprint Cup five times in his career, with the last title coming in 2010. Johnson came in third place in this year’s standings, finishing 40 points out of first place.

Keselowski won this year’s championship, which was the first of his career. Keselowski won the Sprint Cup title by 39 points.

Denny Hamlin has never won the Sprint Cup title. He placed sixth this year, finishing 71 points out of first place.

Kyle Busch has yet to win the Sprint Cup Championship, and this year he finished outside the top 12. Busch was the top driver of any non-Chase competitor.

Kahne has never won the Sprint Cup Championship. He placed fourth in the standings this year, finishing 55 points behind Keselowski for first.
