RV Sales 400 Odds

The Chase for The Sprint Cup heads into the Land of Oz this weekend and despite a horrible start to the Chase, Kyle Busch once again finds himself as the favorite of oddsmakers from SBG Global and Sportsbook.com.

Busch, who has had mechanical failures the past two weeks at Dover and New Hampshire and has never won at Kansas, is the oddsmakers pick at 4/1 odds to win the 2008 Camping World RV Sales 400. In four career starts at Kansas, Busch has only one top 10 and an average finish of 26.5. His odds this week have more to do with his 2008 season success than his past performances at this track.

Behind Busch at 5/1 odds to win the Camping World RV Sales 400 is Sprint Cup Series points leader Carl Edwards. Edwards is currently 10 points ahead of Jimmie Johnson and his Roush-Fenway teammate Greg Biffle.  In four career starts at Kansas Speedway, Edwards has one top 5, two top 10’s and an average finish of 17.0.

Rounding out the top 5 favorites to win this weekend’s Camping World RV 400 at Kansas Speedway are Jimmie Johnson at 5.5/1 odds to win:  In six starts at Kansas, Johnson has one top 5, four top 10’s and an average finish of 120.0. Greg Biffle at 8/1 odds to win: Biffle, the only Kansas winner in the top 5 favorites, has one win, three top 5’s, three top 10’s and an average finish of 11.0 in 6 career starts. Last but not least is Matt Kenseth at 10/1, who has one top 5, two top 10’s and an average finish of 22.1.
