LOUDON, NH (TheSpread) – Denny Hamlin picked up his fourth win of the season on Sunday, as he won the Sylvania 300 to get closer to the top of the NASCAR standings.
Hamlin was the favorite to win the race entering the week and after qualifying. He ended up finishing ahead of Jimmie Johnson for the win, with Johnson coming in second place.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Hamlin had odds of 5/1 to win this race, which means a wager of $100 on him to win will payout an additional $500.
Johnson’s teammate, Jeff Gordon, came in third place while Clint Bowyer was fourth and Kasey Kahne was fifth.
Johnson now finds himself in the points lead, one ahead of Brad Keselowski for first. Hamlin is now in third, 7 points behind Johnson.
