2012 Sylvania 300 Predictions
LOUDON, NH (ATS Consultants) - The second race of the Chase for the Sprint Cup heads to the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon for the Sylvania 300 on Sunday.
This A miscommunication between Denny Hamlin and crew chiefs Darian Grubb cost the #11 team a win here back in July. Hamllin led 150 of the 301 laps but ended up running out of time in his charge to the front at the end of the race and finished second to race-winner Kasey Kahne.

Hamlin should have won here in July. He has one victory here back in 2007 and has the best average finish (8.5) among active drivers. A pit road miscue in July cost him a victory. The second-place finish means he has four top three finishes in the last six events at this track. He also guaranteed a win after the race in Chicago last weekend through Twitter, which is a rare thing for a NASCAR driver.
Bowyer has won here twice at Loudon. Both of those wins were dominating efforts. In 2010, he led 177 of the 300 laps from his second-place starting position. Over the last five races, he has an average driving rating of 107.2. Only two drivers have a better average driver rating.
Ryan Newman finished fifth last weekend at Chicago. That makes eight finishes of 11th or better in the last 10 Sprint Cup races. He has amassed three victories at Loudon in 21 career starts with an average finish of 12.9. He ended up 10th here back in July and started on the pole in this event last season. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, McMurray is a 25/1 long shot for today’s race.
