Updated Sprint Cup Title Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – The 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Season is down to its 10-race Chase for the Championship. Here is an updated look at the odds to win this year’s Sprint Cup title.
This year’s Chase features 16 drivers. After three races, the field is cut to the top 12 and then the top eight after six. Four will remain entering the final race, where the best finish in the year’s finale will crown the new champion.
Gordon is a four-time Sprint Cup champion, but his last win came in 2011. Under the new point settings, Gordon is one of four drivers in second place right now, 3 points behind Keselowski for first place. He has three wins and 11 top 5s.
Keselowski is a one-time Sprint Cup champion, winning in 2012. Keselowski currently sits on top of the point standings by three points. He has four wins and 11 top 5s this year.
Johnson is a six-time winner of the Sprint Cup title and the defending champion. Johnson is tied for second in the standings with three wins this year. He has just eight top 5s in 2014.
Harvick has never won the Sprint Cup title. Harvick is currently tied for sixth in the standings, 6 points out of first place. He has two wins on the year with eight top 5s.
