HAMPTON, GA (TheSpread) – Tony Stewart was fastest in qualifying for the AdvoCare 500 on Friday and he will now start up front for Sunday night’s race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

According to oddsmakers, Stewart and Jimmie Johnson are now favored to win this race as each has 6/1 odds. Kyle Busch now has 7/1 odds to win.

Johnson is currently second in the point standings. He is 11 points out of first place and has three wins on the year. Johnson has three wins in Atlanta in his career. His average finish at this track is 10.0, and his driver rating is 109.5, which ranks best of any driver. Johnson will start eighth on Sunday.

Stewart has three wins and 10 top 5’s at Atlanta. His average finish is 11.2, while his driver rating is 102.3, which ranks third in the series. Stewart is currently 10th in the point standings. He is 103 points out of first and has three wins this year.

Busch is 13th in the point standings and currently locked into one of the Wild Card spots for the Chase. He is 142 points out of first with one win and six top 5’s. Busch will start third on Sunday. Busch has one win at Atlanta with an average finish of 17.7 and a driver rating of 90.6 at the track, which ranks 11th in the series.
