Irwin Tools Night Race Picks
BRISTOL, TN (ATS CONSULTANTS) – The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competes under the lights tonight for the Irwin Tools Night Race. Here is a look at the drivers to wager on tonight.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Kevin Harvick, the pole sitter, is favored to win, as he has 9/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch, who have 8/1 odds.
Here are the drivers we like:
Keselowski is a two-time winner at Bristol in his young career. He comes into today’s race starting ninth. The three-time winner this year has a 95.9 driver rating at Bristol, which ranks fifth in today’s field. Keselowski has been a steady driver this year in his quest to get back to the Sprint Cup title. Look for another strong run today from him and perhaps the victory.
Hamlin is starting 13th tonight. He has had a nice run as of late, placing in the top 10 in five of his last seven, which has him slowly working up the point standings. Hamlin has won at Bristol in his career and has a 90.7 driver rating at this track, which puts him in the top 10 of today’s competitors. Hamlin needs another win to secure his chase spot since he sits back in the point standings and today could be that day.
Live Long Shot
Menard starts 17th today. He is coming off a strong finish last week, placing fourth, which could spark him to a strong run in Bristol. Sitting 17th in the points and without a win on the year, Menard is going to be desperate and take some chances today, which could payoff. We like Menard as a wild card heading into a track where anything can happen.
