BROOKLYN, MI (TheSpread) – Jeff Gordon continued his strong 2014 season by picking up his third win of the year on Sunday, winning the Pure Michigan 400.

Gordon had a strong car all day after claiming pole position on Friday. He managed to hold off the likes of Kevin Harvick and Joey Logano for the win on the final laps.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Gordon had 7/1 odds to win this race coming into the week, which means a wager of $100 on him to win will pay out an additional $700.

Gordon moves back into the points lead with the win on Sunday. He is now 3 points ahead of Dale Earnhardt Jr. Dale Jr. finished 5th on Sunday. Brad Keselowski, who was racing on his home track, finished eight. He remains in third in the point standings.
