Brickyard 400 Odds

The 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series returns to action this week with the running of the Brickyard 400 from Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Jimmie Johnson is considered the favorite to win the event and has been given 7/2 odds to win according to oddsmakers at the online sports book SBGGLOBAL. Other short odds to win are Denny Hamlin (8/1), Jeff Gordon (8/1), and Kyle Busch (8/1).

Gordon has won this event four times in his career. His average finish on the track is 8.6 and his driver rating is 96.2. Gordon ranks second in the season standings despite being winless on the year. Gordon is 103 points behind Harvick.

Kyle Busch has never won this event but he has three top 10’s. Busch has an average finish of 14.8 and a driver rating of 92.8 in Indy. Busch is currently sixth in the standings, 257 points out of first. He has two wins on the year.
