Larson wins Kentucky pole
SPARTA, KY (TheSpread) – After rain washed out Friday’s qualifying session, Kyle Larson will now be on the pole for tonight’s Quaker State 400. Here’s a look at the latest odds for the race.
According to oddsmakers at GTBets, Kevin Harvick and Brad Keselowski are now co-favorites with 6/1 odds while Jimmie Johnson and Joey Logano each have 7/1 odds to win. The Quaker State 400 is taking place tonight at 7:45PM ET from Kentucky Speedway.
Harvick is the points leader right now in the series, as he has a 63-point lead in the series. He has two wins and 12 top 5s this year. Harvick has yet to win at Kentucky in four races, but his average finish is 11th and his driver rating is 95.2 there. Harvick will start fourth tonight.
Keselowski qualified second for this race. He is seventh in the standings, 136 points out of first place. He has one win and three top 5s this year. This has been a great track for Keselowski, as he has won two of his four starts and has an average finish of 10.5 here. His driver rating at Kentucky is 116.1.
Johnson is third in the standings, 67 points out of first place. Johnson has a series-best four wins this year and also has 10 top 5s. Johnson has yet to win at Kentucky, but his average finish is 7th at the track and his driver rating there is 116.6. Johnson will start sixth tonight.
Logano is starting fourth tonight. He is 75 points out of first place in the standings and has one win with nine top 10s this year. Logano is winless here with an average finish of 12.2 at the track. His driver rating at Kentucky is 94.7.
